Grateful Heart Yoga

Starting off

September 28, 2026

I love yoga. I love the postures and the philosophies that I learn as I immerse myself in all things yoga. It helps me balance on my feet, and also in my mind. I'm a little less quick to aggravation, but it still comes. Like right now, as I try to create content and advertisements I find myself getting frustrated. I really don't want to use AI at all, but especially when it comes to yoga. I want this to be real and organic and intentional. Creativity is not my strongest suit, and when I compare my flyers and social media posts to so many others, I freeze. Mine don't look as professional as pretty much every other yoga advertisement that I see, so I have not started sending them to anyone.

As I sit here typing this I am thinking of Half Moon pose. This is a challenging pose to get into, and I need blocks as props to get me there. Sometimes even with the blocks it isn't really pretty. But every single time I work my way into the pose I feel stronger, more aware of some part of my body or mind that grounds me for at least part of the day. I want to do yoga, and to teach people how to do yoga, and if I don't start with my less polished flyers and posts, then I am never going to move towards that goal. Because I am not prepared to use AI as a prop, my flyers and posts may not be as pretty as others, but they are laying the foundation for a strong, grateful practice.
